Nov 18 & 20 – Circle the Dates
In November, I’m speaking at two events. I’d love it if you could join me. Here are some details on both…
Less Good Work, More Great Work
First up, on the 18th, I’ll be speaking at The HR Leaders Summit. In this closing keynote that runs from 4:40-5:30 pm, you’ll learn the difference between good work and great work, and why the distinction is critical. Understand the three core characteristics you need to do more great work; sharpen your focus and increase the amount of great work you are doing; and leave this hour with new insights and an action plan for doing things differently.

Rapid Design Genius: Build a Brilliant Workshop Fast
If you are attending The Institute for Performance and Learning’s 2015 Conference and Trade Show from November 18-20, be sure to join me on the 20th from 10:00-11:00 am for Session G5 – Rapid Design Genius: Build a Brilliant Workshop Fast. I’ll be speaking with my partner in crime and presenter extraordinaire, Mark Bowden, the founder of TruthPlane.
We’ve all disappeared down the rabbit hole when trying to design a workshop that teaches and engages. But it doesn’t have to be that time consuming. With some core design principles, and some powerful new insights into how people learn, you can design a fantastic workshop fast.
Join Mark and me as we outline the very worst place to start any design process, the power of rapid prototyping and the one thing you need to add to make your content stick.
